Our newest and youngest member of our Elysium Acres family, Akira, joined us in August 2024 after we adopted her from the New Hampshire SPCA. This stunning 16-year-old black Morgan mare with a gentle spirit, carries herself with an undeniable grace.

While she may initially be timid with new people, our beautiful mare always appreciates a calm and patient approach. With time and understanding, her true personality – a blend of curiosity and affection – begins to blossom.

While her past may hold some mysteries, we do know that Akira previously served as an Amish carthorse. Furthermore, Elysium Acres id dedicated to offering her a peaceful and enriching retirement.
